So then those who were scattered because of the persecution that occurred in connection with Stephen made their way to Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except to Jews alone. As a pastor I am frequently approached by believers who want to grow in Christ. It is natural to want to grow in Christ because once you know him, you instinctively want to know him more. Once you give your life to him, you are not easily satisfied with the status quo. Most people want to grow spiritually, to be challenged, to be stretched, to be more mature in their faith and walk with God.
